Project undertaken for Alrik Ventures. The conversion of an existing Grade I listed property overlooking St James Park in central London.
The property was used for many years as offices but this project entailed converting the property back to residential use. The property is approximately 1,000m2 arranged over 6 floors and includes new staff accommodation, catering kitchen, steam and sauna, cinema, family kitchen and living areas, entertaining rooms, and master and guest bedrooms on the top 4 floors.
Our appointment was to undertake detailed design of the mechanical, electrical, public health, lifts and acoustic services. Full design was selected due to the intensive design requirements imposed by English Heritage. The existing lift was replaced and extended to serve the 4th floor.
