Project undertaken for Tanaina Holdings. The project entailed the complete refurbishment of two standalone properties in London (6 floors and approximately 800m2), including basement and ground floor extensions.
The accommodation is arranged over 6 floors and includes staff accommodation, garages, catering kitchen, Cinema, Gym, Sauna, steamroom, indoor pool, entertaining spaces and en-suite bedrooms to the upper floors. All living spaces were provided with air-conditioning and underfloor heating.
Our appointment was to undertake performance design of the mechanical, electrical, public health, lifts and pool services. Fire engineering was also undertaken through an affiliated Fire consultancy company, Omega Fire. Due to the size of the properties sprinklers were requested by Building Control but a concession was given for these to be omitted by providing an enhanced fire engineering solution including VESDA fire alarm systems and fire curtains. New lifts were installed feeding all floors and dumb-waiters were installed between the catering kitchen and dining areas.
